This is the direct sequel to "The Secret of the Unicorn", and it is equally as good, finishing this rollicking adventure off in style. On the way, we are given our first introduction to Professor Calculus, a deaf, eccentric inventor, who has built a submersible for Tintin and Haddock to use while searching for treasure - which is found, but not where anyone expected. An excellent Tintin story.
