Carlos Jiménez R., oriundo de Barranquilla, Colombia, es muy conocido en el ámbito pentecostal. Ha sido pastor, director nacional de jóvenes, director y profesor de institutos bíblicos, y ejecutivo nacional de organizaciones evangélicas. Actualmente es pastor de la Comunidad Cristiana de Houston y trabaja tambien como evangelista internacional, habiendo realizado campañas multitudinarias en varios países de Latinoamérica, en distintas regiones de los Estados Unidos, en algunos países de Europa y en dos ocasiones en Israel. A pesar de lo anterior, su arduo trabajo no le impide compartir sus conocimientos. Ha sido profesor de ISUM (Instituto de Superación Ministerial) de las Asambleas de Dios, donde ha enseñado, entre otras, la asignatura de Teología Contemporáea
