About the Author

Mary is a 6th generation farmer. She has traced her heritage to the land of Tralee in County Kerry, Ireland. She loves teaching children about livestock. She became an advocate for being a good steward to the environment as a child when she learned about phosphates running into the waterways from our washing machines. She asked her Mother to only buy safe laundry detergent to save the earth. She realized even a small voice can make a big impact. Mary is also a Distinguished Toastmaster and a Master Gardner and loves growing award winning Roses and Dahlia's. In her spare time, she loves being outside riding her horse, Tango. Jacqueline is an accomplished Equestrian in particular trains and rehomes Off the Track Thoroughbreds and enjoys teaching children about goats. She has been raising livestock since she was 6 years old. She loves spending her time outside with her animals and is an avid reader of poetry.
