Small! Small! Small! Pint-Sized Pauley is helplessly and hopelessly CHALLENGED - vertically, that is! He is the smallest boy in his village. All the other kids tease him saying, "Pint-Sized Pauley - the smallest kid in Bali - Indonesia that is.



And what's worse - Pauley doesn't like himself very much. In fact, he doesn't like himself at all! He wishes he was tall, but he's simply small. And so, he doesn't think he can do anything at all.



Being small, however, takes on a whole new meaning in my book: Pint-Sized Pauley and the Giant Volcano. It is a lighthearted adventure for children (3-5); an unusual story of a "pint-sized wonder" who overcomes his limitations and discovers he can be happy just being himself.

Upon completing graduate school, Michael received a Presidential appointment to serve our nation's interests as a military chaplain endorsed by The Episcopal Church (TEC). He retired in 2010 having served nearly 30 years of distinguished military service.







Michael has enjoyed a very rewarding and diverse career having served as: Military chaplain, priest, teacher, child/adolescent counselor, and children's author. He has written several books for young readers under the pen name - Dr. Phineas Peabody.



He currently lives in sunny Southern California, with his wife (Becky) and two lovable dogs Riley and Gabby.



He is an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
