The world has been torn apart by a scientific attack. The remaining quarter of the world's population has formed large settlements. Kraken, a large crime organization, has a stranglehold on the world's most peaceful and prosperous city. A man named Zero is one of many in this city who have a genetic power mutation called a gene spike and a hatred for Kraken's leader Hades. Zero lost his family in the rebellion against Kraken and feels compelled to continue the fight. He gets swept up in a new rebellion as its leader and quickly learns that he has more power and courage than he ever thought possible.
