WHEN IT COMES TO SHAPESHIFTING PARANORMAL ROMANCE, WHO CAN RESIST...

New York Times bestselling author Angela Knight, USA Today bestselling author Lora Leigh, and national bestselling authors Alyssa Day and Virginia Kantra?

Whether transforming under a blue moon or prowling the streets, the shifters come alive to fulfill the wildest of fantasies in this seductive anthology by four masters of paranormal romance.

Angela Knight is the USA Today and New York Times bestselling author of the Mageverse series and the Warlord series. Besides her novels, Angela's publishing career includes a stint as a comic book writer and ten years as a newspaper reporter. Several of her stories won South Carolina Press Association awards under her real name. She lives in South Carolina with her husband, Michael.

Lora Leigh is a #1 New York Times-bestselling romance author known for the Breeds series and the Nauti Boys series. Most days, she can be found in front of her computer weaving daydreams while sipping the ambrosia of the gods, also known as coffee. When not writing or thinking about writing, Lora, a Kentucky native, enjoys gardening, fishing, and hiking with her husband and children.

Alyssa Day is the pen name (and dark, tortured alter ego) of Alesia Holliday, winner of Romance Writers of America's prestigious RITA award for excellence in romance fiction. Alyssa is a graduate of The Ohio State University and summa cum laude graduate of Capital Law School. She lives with her family and children somewhere near the ocean (they move a lot!).

Virginia Kantra is the New York Times bestselling author of the Children of the Sea series and the Dare Island novels. She has won numerous industry awards, including the Romance Writers of America's RITA Award and two National Readers' Choice Awards.

Not a bad anthology of four novellas, although for me the star was Lora Leigh. Angela Knight’s ‘Mad Dog Love’ is a sci-fi shapeshifter, offering an original take on the whole werewolf theme, and is very well done. Zarifa Lorezo is on the run and needs a protector, so buys slave werewolf Rance, and we all know what happens, but there is a good plot in between all the happening. Lora Leigh’s ‘A Jaguar’s Kiss’ is another Breed story, and is superb. So much heart, soul, story and sex in a novella, and yet the story is taut, everything in its place [so to speak, and frequently], and the characterisation is superb. Alyssa Day’s ‘Shifter’s Lady’ is also wonderful, with Earth shapeshifters meeting Atlantean nobles, and now I have to hunt up the first story. The ending was the only disappointment. No, it’s not bad or sad, for those who like me require happy endings, it just wasn’t satisfactory. Virginia Kantra’s ‘Sea Crossing’ was for me the weakest, although the Selkie shapeshifters were interesting.
