Wafa' Tarnowska presented her book to an international audience at an online launch on 20th September 2020, which was attended by book buyers, reviewers, book clubs and advocates of children's literacy. Wafa' will be attending festivals to read from her book, and will visit schools, and do signings as soon as circumstances allow. Wafa' Tarnowska is a children's author, story teller, broadcaster and translator. Born in Lebanon, she has lived, studied and worked in several countries, including Australia and Dubai. She is now settled in the UK, in Hertfordshire, from where she does her writing and translating. AMAZING WOMEN OF THE MIDDLE EAST is her sixth book for children, her last one being the award winning ARABIAN NIGHTS, which was translated into several languages. A passionate storyteller, Wafa' brings the wonder and richness of different cultures to young readers, and also young audiences through her storytelling events.
