whose body of work continues to impact American entertainment and
culture. She has been honored with four Emmy Awards, the George
Foster Peabody Award, a Golden Globe, a Grammy, and has been
inducted into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame. In November 2014,
President Barack Obama awarded Marlo the Presidential Medal of
Freedom, the highest honor a civilian can receive.
Phil Donahue is a writer, producer, journalist, and media pioneer
who revolutionized the talk show format and ushered in a new era of
broadcast television. The Donahue show was honored with twenty
Daytime Emmy Awards, including ten Emmys for Outstanding Host, and
ten for Best Talk Show. In 1996, the Daytime Emmys presented Phil
with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to
television journalism. Phil has been inducted into the Academy of
Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame and is a recipient of the
George Foster Peabody Award. He lives in New York City.
Maggi-Meg Reed has performed as an actress and singer both on and
off-Broadway. She is a narrator of many popular audio books,
including A Very Long Engagement and The Time Traveler's Wife. She
is the winner of five AudioFile Earphones Awards.
A student of neuroscience and speech pathology, Sean Patrick
Hopkins has translated his understanding of human behavior and
vocal performance into a career in storytelling. His classical
training and versatility with dialects has helped to create
distinct and varied characters across many genres. In addition to
narrating over 100 audiobooks, he has been seen and heard on film,
television, video games, and stages in New York City and across the
country. When not in the booth, you can find him buried in
genealogy research, out exploring our National Parks, and raising
an amazing daughter alongside his wife, fellow narrator Patricia
Santomasso. Robin Miles, named a Golden Voice by AudioFile
magazine, has twice won the prestigious Audie Award for Best
Narration, an Audie Award for directing, and many Earphones Awards.
Her film and television acting credits include The Last Days of
Disco, Primary Colors, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order,
New York Undercover, National Geographic's Tales from the Wild, All
My Children, and One Life to Live. She regularly gives seminars to
members of SAG and AFTRA actors' unions, and in 2005 she started
Narration Arts Workshop in New York City, offering audiobook
recording classes and coaching. She holds a BA degree in theater
studies from Yale University, an MFA in acting from the Yale School
of Drama, and a certificate from the British American Drama Academy
in England.
Adam Verner is a stage, film, television, and voice actor and an
Earphones Award-winning audiobook narrator. He holds a BS in
theater arts from Bradley University and an MFA from Chicago
College of the Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.
Eileen Stevens is a voice-over actress living and working in New
York City whose voice can be heard on cartoons, promos, programs
for English-language learners, and audiobooks. She has voiced Iris
on Pokémon. An Earphones Award-winning narrator, she has also
directed and produced audiobooks for over six years.
A veteran voice artist, Tom Zingarelli has produced and narrated
many audiobooks in the last several years. He has also recorded
books for the Connecticut State Library for the Blind and
Physically Handicapped. His voice was featured on the popular PBS
children's television program Between the Lions and in the
off-Broadway production of Ruthless, the Musical.
Thérèse Plummer is an actor and award-winning audiobook narrator
living and working in New York City. Her television credits include
guest starring roles on The Good Wife and Law and Order: Special
Victims Unit. She has recorded more than 200 audiobooks for various
publishers, has been nominated for multiple Audie Awards, and is an
Earphones Award winner. Thérèse is the voice of Maya Hansen in the
Marvel Graphic Motion Comic Ironman Extremis, Dr. Fennel in
