Cunningham’s classic introduction to Wicca is about how to live life magically, spiritually, and wholly attuned with nature. It is a book of sense and common sense, not only about magick, but about religion and one of the most critical issues of today: how to achieve the much needed and wholesome relationship with our Earth. Cunningham presents Wicca as it is today: a gentle, Earth-oriented religion dedicated to the Goddess and God. "Wicca "also includes Scott Cunningham’s own Book of Shadows and updated appendices of periodicals and occult suppliers.

A fairly basic introduction to the idea of modern Wicca, this book is very easy to read without being boring. Unlike many of the pre-90's books on Wicca, this one is aimed at those who either don't want to or can't find a coven, and even provides a source of rituals for a solitary seeker. Cunningham's friendly style will appeal to many.

This is the book that really started it all for me- an inspiring guide to getting started in Wicca. Scott strips back the hype and goes to the heart of this practise, helping you get in touch with the fundamental spirit of this movement, rather than the flakey fashion cult which many have been culled into.

This is the perfect down to earth, no fuss book for anyone wishing to enter the world of Wicca, not just how to 'do' it but how to 'live' it and this is what made Scott Cunningham such a great writer. He had the ability to cut through a lot of the hype and overkill now surrounding Wicca and thus this is the perfect book for the person who is tettering on the edge and not knowing how to fall.

A good book for the beginner - or if you are just looking and not sure whether wicca is for you. There is clear concise instruction and directions about what to do, when and where and most importantly why you need to do them. Great for those of us who have an analytical, Scott shows us that even in the pagan world, 1+1 = 2. There are things in this world that we need help to see, Scott Cunningham gives us that help.
