British coming-of-age comedy drama from film-maker Gurinder Chadha set in 1980s Britain. Javed (Viveik Kalra) is a teenage boy of Pakistani descent who struggles to both find his identity as a young man and relate to his traditional family's values. When a friend introduces him to the work of Bruce Springsteen, however, everything changes, as suddenly Javed is able to immerse himself in Springsteen's lyrics and find solace in the music. The cast also includes Kulvinder Ghir, Meera Ganatra and Rob Brydon.
