The third in the 'Doctor' series follows Dr Simon Sparrow (Dirk Bogarde) as he ventures in to the 'real' world looking for work. As he tries various roles in the country Harley St and towns Dr Sparrow undergoes a variety of hilarious medical and romantic adventures then only ends up where he started with Sir Lancelot at St Swithin's.
