Following the death of their eight year old son Adam, devastated parents Jessie (X-MEN star Rebecca Romijn-Stamos) and Paul (Greg Kinnear) are approached by a doctor on the forefront of genetic research (Robert De Niro). They are offered a chance to reverse the rules of nature and have their son back...by cloning him.
Despite the many legal, ethical and moral issues this proposition raises, the grieving couple agree and the experiment is a success. Under the doctor's watchful eye, the new Adam grows into a healthy, happy, young boy...until his eighth birthday - the age the original Adam was when he died. Starting with night terrors and frightening flashbacks, Adam begins to change and a new, sinister personality begins to emerge.

This film was pretty bad. It starts off as a thriller but then becomes some kind of science fiction thing with anti science. It's about a couple who clones their child who sadly died, all goes well until he becomes an evil monster at the time of the death. It's a lame thriller and beats over your head the "don't mess with nature!!!" argument, which I found a bit distasteful.
